High Precision Surface Grinding Machine

Table crries out longitudinal traverses only. This means that the grinding area is at all times fully supported by the slideways of the grinding area is at all times fully supported by the slideways of the front bed , even when the table is in its end positions. The column carries out cross-traverses only. This means that traverse guiding system is always uniformly supported by the V and flat slideways of the rear bed , regardless of column position. The spindle head only carries out vertical traverse. This means that the grinding wheel is always at the same distance from the vertical slideways regardless of working height, which in turn, ensures absolute parallelism between grinding wheel and work table.
